Southpaw Sushi is driven by our penchant for creating seriously delicious sushi – and treating our customers like friends and family.

Kelly is your host and our general manager. Starting in his youth as a busboy he worked his way up in both corporate and private restaurant environments. He was general manager of Spataro’s with the Paragary Restaurant Group, then Piatti’s before striking out on his own as an independent restaurant consultant, where he joined Lou Valente at Lou’s Sushi in 2013.

Phil is our “Paper Guy” in charge of fixing equipment, keeping the lights on and ensuring folks get paid. He serves in the same role as part of the ownership team at The Burger Saloon, a local favorite in beautiful downtown Woodland, California.
